job Summary
The Junior Pharmacist will play an important role in supporting the daily pharmaceutical operations of Droga Pharma PLC by ensuring the safe handling, storage, and distribution of medicines and healthcare products. The position is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to build practical experience in the pharmaceutical industry while contributing to quality healthcare service delivery.
The Junior Pharmacist will be responsible for assisting in pharmaceutical service delivery, medication management, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with healthcare and pharmacy standards. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in dispensing medications according to prescriptions and company procedures.
- Provide professional guidance to customers regarding medication usage and storage.
- Maintain accurate records of pharmaceutical products and inventory.
- Ensure medicines are stored properly according to safety and quality standards.
- Support stock management, ordering, and reporting activities.
- Monitor expiration dates and remove expired products when necessary.
- Follow Ethiopian pharmacy regulations and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with senior pharmacists and healthcare professionals.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university.
- 0 years of experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical practices and ethics.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
- Basic computer knowledge is advantageous.
- Licensed or eligible for pharmacist licensing in Ethiopia.
