The Intern – Public Information (Digital Communications) at the United Nations Office to the African Union (UNOAU) assists the communications team in promoting the work and partnership between the United Nations and the African Union.
The intern supports the preparation and dissemination of digital communication materials such as social media posts, website content, press releases, and multimedia materials. The role also includes helping monitor media coverage, supporting public outreach activities, and assisting in organizing communication campaigns and events.

     Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating digital communication content for websites and social media.
  • Support preparation of press releases, news articles, and multimedia materials.
    Help manage and update online platforms and communication channels.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare communication reports and summaries.
    Support campaigns related to peace, security, and partnership programs between the UN and AU.
  • Assist with graphic, photo, and video content preparation for public outreach.
  • Participate in planning and promotion of events, conferences, and awareness campaigns.
