The Customer Service Officer is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service to clients of the microfinance institution. The role involves assisting customers with financial services, handling transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring customer satisfaction while supporting the institution’s operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional and friendly customer service to all clients visiting the branch.
- Assist customers with account opening, loan applications, deposits, and withdrawal services.
- Handle daily financial transactions accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
- Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate customer records, documentation, and transaction reports.
Support the promotion of microfinance products such as savings accounts, loans, and other financial services. - Verify customer information and ensure compliance with institutional policies and financial regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve service delivery.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports related to customer service operations.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information and financial data.
- Participate in branch activities aimed at improving customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Ensure proper filing and safe handling of financial and customer documents.
