The Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Islamabad is seeking a dedicated and professional Cleaner to maintain the Ethiopian Ambassador’s Residence to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and hospitality. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate attention to detail, and contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

  Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive daily cleaning of all assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, offices, kitchens, and public spaces.
• Ensure all guest rooms, common areas, and official facilities are consistently maintained to an excellent standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Handle laundry, ironing, wardrobe care, and organization of linen and uniforms, ensuring timely availability for use.
• Assist with the setup, preparation, and cleanup of official events, receptions, and meetings hosted at the residence.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all duties, respecting the privacy of guests and Embassy staff.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and inventory, and report shortages or maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Provide occasional support for minor errands or household tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work Experience:
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality.
• Previous experience in a high-standard residential or official setting is preferred.
