The Pharmacy Head is responsible for the overall management and operation of the pharmacy outlet, including human resources, finance, and pharmaceutical services.
- Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and oversee human, financial, and material resources of the pharmacy. - Lead, supervise, and motivate staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Ensure proper allocation and utilization of resources within the pharmacy outlet.
Oversee procurement, storage, and dispensing of safe, effective, and affordable medicines. - Ensure continuous availability of essential drugs for the community.
- Monitor stock levels and implement proper inventory control systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements set by Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority and ERCS guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of service quality, safety, and professional ethics.
- Prepare reports and coordinate with ERCS head office regarding pharmacy operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Must be licensed/registered by the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority (or relevant regulatory body).
- Additional training in management, leadership, or pharmacy administration is an advantage.
