Goshen Pharmacy is seeking a qualified and motivated Pharmacist to join its team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, providing professional advice to patients, and supporting high standards of pharmaceutical care. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications in accordance with legal and ethical standards
- Provide professional counseling to patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
- Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and suitability
- Monitor and report adverse drug reactions and medication errors
- Maintain proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals according to regulatory requirements
- Manage inventory, including stock control, expiry monitoring, and ordering supplies
- Ensure compliance with national pharmacy regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide health promotion advice and support preventive healthcare services
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
- Valid professional license (COC)
- 0–5 years of experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and pharmaceutical practices
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
