The ICAF Project at St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC) is seeking qualified and motivated Research Assistants to support a cluster randomized controlled trial in Addis Ababa. The role involves conducting structured interviews using digital data collection tools (ODK), ensuring high-quality and ethical data collection, maintaining participant confidentiality, and contributing to accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured interviews using Open Data Kit (ODK) tools.
- Participate in all three survey rounds (baseline, midline, endline).
- Ensure high-quality and ethical data collection practices.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of participant information.
- Follow informed consent procedures accurately.
- Attend all required training sessions before each round.
- Submit daily reports on field activities and challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members.
General Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to complete all survey rounds.
- Familiarity with mobile data collection tools (ODK) is an advantage.
