The Data Collector will be responsible for gathering accurate and reliable health-related data from communities, health facilities, and assigned field locations. The role requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in field conditions.
Key Responsibilities duties
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data using structured tools and questionnaires
- Conduct interviews with community members and health professionals
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency of collected data
- Record and submit daily reports to supervisors
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards during data collection
- Identify and report challenges encountered in the field
- Participate in training sessions and pre-data collection briefings
- Properly handle and manage data collection tools (paper-based or electronic devices)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of data collection methods and tools.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to speak local languages is an advantage.
