Job Summary
Save the Children is inviting qualified and experienced consultants to undertake a comprehensive case study for the LEGO Foundation CDA Project in the Amhara Region. The purpose of this consultancy is to generate high-quality evidence on project outcomes, document best practices, and provide actionable insights to improve future program design and implementation.
The consultant will work closely with program teams, stakeholders, and beneficiaries to capture meaningful data and produce a well-structured, analytical, and engaging report.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive case study methodology aligned with project objectives.
- Conduct field visits to selected project sites in the Amhara Region.
- Collect qualitative and quantitative data through interviews, focus group discussions, and observations.
- Engage with key stakeholders including children, caregivers, community members, and project staff.
- Analyze findings to identify impact, success stories, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Develop high-quality case study reports with clear narratives, visuals, and evidence-based insights.
- Ensure ethical standards, including child safeguarding and informed consent, are strictly followed.
- Present findings and recommendations to Save the Children and relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, Education, or a related field
- 3–5 years of proven experience in conducting research, evaluations, or case studies
- Strong qualitative data collection and analysis skills
- Experience working with NGOs or international organizations is an asset
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills in English
- Familiarity with child-focused programs and safeguarding principles
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
