Job Summary
The MHNT (Mobile Health and Nutrition Team) Leader is responsible for managing and overseeing mobile health operations in emergency and underserved areas. The role focuses on delivering life-saving health and nutrition services, supervising field teams, and ensuring effective coordination with local health authorities and communities. This position plays a critical role in strengthening healthcare access and improving public health outcomes in crisis settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Mobile Health & Nutrition Team (MHNT) field operations
- Deliver high-quality emergency health and nutrition services
- Plan and coordinate team movement, logistics, and supply management
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of program activities
- Supervise and support health staff to maintain service quality
- Coordinate with government health offices, partners, and local communities
- Ensure compliance with IRC protocols and humanitarian standards
Qualifications
- Diploma, BSc, or MSc in Nursing, Public Health, or related field.
- Additional training in emergency health or nutrition is an advantage.
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of relevant work experience (mobile health experience preferred)
Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent coordination, communication, and reporting abilities.
- Solid clinical and public health knowledge
Ability to work in remote and emergency settings.
